Do Gift Cards Ever Expire?
Gift cards can be set to expire after a specific amount of time.
By default, gift cards don’t expire because it is illegal in some countries for gift cards to expire. If you set an expiry date, then, by default, the cards expire after five years. However, you can change the length of the expiry date. Verify that you are following the rules and regulations for gift cards in your country.
